We met Lukas Demetz, a brilliant entrepreneur linked to his wonderful land, of which he wants us to discover even more…
Which sustainability changes have you made to your hotel?
Structural changes first of all. I worked with a view to optimizing the use of energy, to ensure that the whole hotel would live on renewable energy.
What do you think are the most sustainable aspects of your land?
I would say that the ski lifts we have in this area are a good example of sustainability: here in the valley we produce much more water energy than is needed. The very fact of using energy produced locally is therefore an aspect of strong sustainability of this territory.
How would you further improve your territory to make it even more sustainable?
From my point of view it is necessary to reduce the traffic of cars, especially the most polluting ones. We have a hydrogen-powered public transport network, so I would try to motivate people to use buses as much as possible and to buy electric vehicles.
What you particularly like about traveling with an electric vehicle:
I find the driving of an electric vehicle more immediate and smoother than that of petrol or diesel vehicles.
A trip / itinerary with electric vehicles that you recommend:
I recommend the Serraronda, or the tour of the four passes Pordoi, Sella, Gardena and Campolongo. An itinerary to discover the magnificent Dolomites, for which the electric car is ideal.
Change for you is …
Accompany an existing condition in a new, thought and different state.
