Charging your electric car is becoming increasingly city-friendly.
We’ve been reporting on this for a while in our e-mobility city life column, and this time we want to suggest one of the most pleasant ways to recharge your car on a daily basis.
The summer is fast approaching and many Italians are about to start their holidays, in the month historically most used to rest from the hard work of the year, August. Whether for short or longer periods, near or far from one’s own city, going on holiday is not the same as having to leave one’s electric car at home.
Enjoy some rest while recharging
Inevitably, the uncertainty linked to the pandemic we are currently experiencing has curtailed the desire of many who wanted to run away, but this has not stopped the legitimate desire to enjoy some rest: in mid-July, 12 million Italians were in fact already on holiday.
With the difficulties of travelling abroad, many opted for a holiday in Italy or even in their own region. After all, almost every area of our country offers various places to relax by the sea, the lake or in the mountains.
For the same reasons, many people will travel by car, as specified by Federalberghi, renouncing other means of transport where the risk of infection could be greater.
More than 3,000 recharging points
Be Charge is present in Italy with more than 3,000 recharging points, and holiday destinations are no different. Lombardy, Lazio, Marche, Umbria, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Veneto, Emilia-Romagna and Piedmont: these are some of the regions where we are present with recharging points at accommodation facilities.
Imagine you have arrived at your hotel after a longer or shorter journey, perhaps in an area outside the city. All you have to do is park your car, open the Be Charge app and while you are relaxing in the hotel, your car will fill up with energy from one of our quick, fast or ultrafast chargers.
From seaside to mountainside: the right choice for you
If you’ve opted for a holiday in the mountains, the Pavillon Hotel in Courmayer or Montana Lodge & Spa in La Thuile could be just what you need. If, on the other hand, you are spending your holiday at the seaside, the Lanterna Blu in Senigallia may be the right choice for you.
Obviously these two places are not the only ones where Be Charge is present: our aim is to bring recharging to the places where people go every day, and tourist facilities are therefore a fundamental point for achieving this mission. So far we have almost 200 charging points in hotels and similar establishments, and we will see many more in the coming months. Keep following us to find out when we will arrive in your favourite city!
