The holidays are over, autumn is just around the corner and outdoor training is beginning to make way for a return indoors. In addition to the facilities that have been operating nonstop for the past few months, there are some that are reopening their doors, hopefully permanently.
Exercising outdoors in the places provided by many sports centers is wise weather permitting, however, with the introduction of the Green Pass, the gym can once again become a daily commitment to achieve safely .
What could be better than working out while your electric car is charging?
Physical activity has many benefits: it reduces the risk of obesity, increases cardiovascular health, improves memory and brain function, protects against many chronic diseases and more.
In the increasingly hectic lives in which many of us live, where time is more and more precious, carving out some time for oneself is unfortunately increasingly difficult. Therefore a charging station in the places where we live can be very valuable for many e-drivers.
Assuming an hour’s training and a Fiat 500e in our possession with a 42 kWh battery pack, an hour’s charge at a 22kw quick charger will provide around 50% more charge to the car’s battery: not bad for a period when we couldn’t use the car.
Be Charge charging stations in strategic locations
Of the more than 4,000 Be Charge branded charging points, many have sprung up next to supermarkets, hotels, restaurants, airports and gyms, as well as other public access locations, to give e-drivers the best possible charging conditions.
The Baldoni sports centre in Loreto, in the province of Ancona, and the Green Point gym in Pieve di Soligo, in the province of Treviso, are two of the most important sports locations on our recent list. Both facilities are very popular in their respective areas, partly due to the fact that they were built in areas where there is no abundance of similar sports centres, making them crucial for the population in the surrounding area.
In conclusion, there is another reason besides convenience why we have chosen to install our inlets near sports centres, and that is the fact that we strongly believe in sport, so much so that we sponsor the Be Pink women’s cycling team, which, among other competitions, also took part in the last Giro d’Italia women’s race.
